I just upgraded the software to the current version, huzzah. The process involved killing off the customized styling I had added to make this forum look like the old RT, but that seemed like wasted effort anyway since nobody seemed to care. Anywho....I have re-enabled registration and will keep it open so long as this place doesn't get spammed like it was a year ago. (I can make registration by-invite-only or I can shut off registration completely.)
